Buses, Minivans and Vans from Bangkok or Hua Hin

Phetchaburi lies along a major road connecting the capital to the south. It has a bus station, but most vehicles drop passengers on the outskirts.

Vans and Minibuses: Fast and Frequent

The fastest option to reach Phetchaburi. From Bangkok (Sai Tai Mai or Sai Tai Guo), vans run every hour from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Travel time is 1h20 to 1h45, depending on traffic. Fare: around 120 THB per person.

Most vans stop near Big C, outside town. Tuk-tuks are waiting—expect 50 THB to get to the central market.

For the return, vans leave from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Departures are 100 meters from the night market. Fare: around 100 THB.
