Where to stay in Lopburi: our tips for a successful trip
It’s fair to say straight away that Lopburi does not have a large hotel structure. The offer is somewhat limited, especially if you are dependent on transport.
The choice is therefore fairly simple. Without a car, you need to choose a hotel or guesthouse close to the station in the city centre.
It would be best to avoid the addresses close to Phra Prang Sam Yod. The area is overrun with monkeys. They are nice from a distance, but a little less so when you find them hanging out of your bedroom window.

Budget hotels in Lopburi
Noom Guesthouse
Option: for the location and to avoid breaking the bank. A guesthouse that hasn’t changed too much, but which has kept a good spirit and atmosphere. It’s fairly basic, but it’s good enough for one night. Not all rooms have air-conditioning. Noom Guesthouse is one of the most popular hotels in Lopburi for travellers looking for cheap accommodation close to the station.

Wanlapa Farmstay
Option: I’ve got time with the kids, let’s go to the countryside! Yes, here we are leaving the city centre to go 10 km away. What’s the point? To meet a family who run a farm with bungalows. Animals, vegetation, an introduction to local farming practices, etc. enough to make a weekend of it! What’s more, the food is good and it’s not expensive!
